Many of the people I talk to are seekers; living full lives but aware that there is more. How do we discover this “more”? Where do we discover this “more”? What is this “more”?
Several years ago I was blessed to work with a man who invited me to question my perspective, showed me where to find love and changed my life permanently. And then I read that when they asked Michelangelo how he made his statue of David he is reported to have said, “It is easy. You just chip away the stone that doesn’t look like David.”
So how do we create the life we want? It is simple – you remove the veils that are not loving truth. Here are the lines from Marianne Williamson that inspire me every day to continue the work of removing the veils:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
May you unleash the glory of God that is within in 2014; may your light shine; may abundance be yours.
